The Boardwalk Art Show (BWAS) is produced by the Virginia Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) and is one of the oldest outdoor fine art and contemporary craft shows on the east coast. Now in its 65th year, the BWAS is consistently ranked in Sunshine Artist Magazine's top 50 best fine art shows. Three arts professionals from across the country will jury the submissions and select 250 artists to participate in the show. With an average attendance each year of more than 225,000, this three-day festival attracts collectors and artists from across the nation. The show runs along the Virginia Beach boardwalk overlooking the sandy beach and Atlantic Ocean.

All proceeds from the Boardwalk Art Show directly support the Virginia Museum of Contemporary Art, a non-profit institution which provides thought-provoking, contemporary art exhibitions and childrens art education programs.
