The Albemarle County Fair Board is gearing up for the upcoming Albemarle County Fair on July 25 through July 27. Hours of operation will be Thursday, July 25 from 4pm until 9pm; Friday, July 26 from 10am until 9pm; Saturday, July 27 from 10am until 9pm. Admission is $5, children under 6 free

Albemarle County Fair, Inc., a nonprofit, regionally based corporation, has as its primary mission to annually sponsor the Albemarle County Fair. This Fair is primarily focused on serving the Charlottesville-Albemarle area by promoting the involvement of the areas public and visitors in its programming. The programs strive to provide wholesome entertainment and activities that emphasize the deep human, natural, and agricultural resources of Central Virginia.

This fun and festive Old-Time Country Fair will be a three-day agricultural celebration, complete with exhibits, baked goods, crafts, family entertainment, events, livestock, and grand old-time country fun. In addition to this years attractions, the fair, in collaboration with James Monroes Highland, will offer demonstrations of historic and cultural significance, including a blacksmith, wool spinning and weaving, and a reproduction button maker.
