| Description: | From Vinton Dogwood Festival Website: The Vinton Dogwood Festival, now in its 64th year, is the pre-eminent annual event for the Town of Vinton, in Virginia's Blue Ridge. As a nonprofit, community-focused organization, the Vinton Dogwood Festival provides free family entertainment for the community while promoting business in Vinton and across Virginia's Blue Ridge.
The festival's all-volunteer committee puts in countless hours to stage this event, and collaborates with local organizations such as Roanoke County schools, Boy and Girl Scouts, Lions Clubs, local churches and area nonprofits.
