| Description: | From 2018 Lynchburg Art Festival Website: The first Lynchburg Art Festival was 46 years ago. Through the years it has evolved into a highly respected and well attended celebration of art in Central Virginia. It is held on the grounds of E.C. Glass High School, 2111 Memorial Avenue in Lynchburg.
Awards are presented at the end of the day with cash prizes including a separate judging for high school students. Artists may apply over the summer for fence or tent space during the one day festival. Applications are mailed in June each year.
The 2018 Lynchburg Art Festival will be held on Saturday, September 15th, 10am to 4pm, with a rain date of Sunday, September 16th.
