UkeFest Virginia is a fun, annual celebration of the ukulele brought to you by the River City Ukulele Society, a nonprofit group of like-minded ukulele enthusiasts (yes, those handsome devils and dashing ladies in the high-class video at the top of this section). We're happy to invite you to our fifth annual festival, seeing our friends from far and wide, and meeting new friends who enjoy the ukulele! We're excited to have Cathy Fink and Marcy Marxer as our special guests, as well as our other talented artists and workshop instructors. Food vendors will be available at lunchtime, and our vendors will help feed your UAS. What more could you want? How about carrying a small four-stringed instrument around with a goofy grin without getting strange looks from passersby? WE WILL HAVE THAT TOO! Just think - an entire day when you can share your passion for ukuleles with other passionate ukulele folk. Workshops, Concerts, Community Stage - opportunities for enjoyment will abound! How can you afford not to come?
