| Description: | From 34th Annual Plumb Alley Day Website: Some 6,000 - 8,000 residents and visitors are expected on Abingdons Plumb Alley on Saturday, May 28, 2016 when the Kiwanis Club holds its 34th Annual Plumb Alley Day. The festival, rated one of the largest one-day events in this Southeast, runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
In the heart of the towns historic district, Plumb Alley is the shaded picturesque alley that runs between Main and Valley Streets. The Day features yard sales, food, music, a dance performance, childrens activities, and a massive yard sale sponsored by the Kiwanis Club. In addition, more than 175 vendors will sell pottery, art, photographs, crafts, jewelry, antiques, and innumerable other items.
