| Description: | From 67th Annual Uncle Billy's Day Festival Website: The annual Uncle Billy's Day festival is an old tradition celebrating the entrepreneurism that makes Altavista a great place to live and do business. Billy Lane, whose family founded the town, would come into Altavista on Saturdays to peddle his goods. The Uncle Billys Day Festival is a weekend when old friends reunite and new friends are made! We will have plenty of great music and good food. The carnival will be in town. Local crafters and artisans, as well as, antique car enthusiasts will be showcasing their treasures. There is something for everyone at the Uncle Billys Day Festival!
