| Description: | From Albemarle County Fair Website: The Albemarle County Fair Board is gearing up for the upcoming Albemarle County Fair on July 31 through August 2 Hours of operation will be Thursday, July 31 from 4pm until 10pm; Friday, August 1 from 10am until 10pm; Saturday, August 2 from 10am until 10pm. The Albemarle County Fair will be held at the outdoor pavilion and grounds of Ash Lawn-Highland located in Charlottesville. In addition to this year's longer hours, 2014 features more fun-filled attractions.
A fun and festive "Old-Time Country Fair," the 2014 Albemarle County Fair will be a three-day agricultural celebration, complete with farm animals, exhibits, baked goods, crafts, family entertainment, 4-H events, livestock, pageant queens, and grand old-time country fun!
The AFC Board thanks the community for their interest and continued support and looks forward to sharing and celebrating the best of our rich and lively agricultural community at the 2014 Fair at Ash Lawn-Highland.
