Join us Saturday, September 20, 11am - 7pm, RAIN OR SHINE, at historic James Madison's Montpelier for our Taste of Freedom Wine Festival. We will have wineries, cider houses and breweries participating (all from Virginia), as well as regional artisans and crafters.

The festival is held in conjunction with Montpelier's Constitution Day celebration. You can create memories that will last a lifetime for your family and friends by celebrating the birthday of the U.S. Constitution with wine, cider and beer tastings, picnics on the grounds, mansion tours, visits with "James" and "Dolley," special games and activities for children, live entertainment, and a spectacular fireworks display over the mansion lawn. Montpelier will open at 9:00am and the Taste of Freedom Wine Festival gates will open at 11am.

In order to taste the wine, beer and cider, you will be required to show your ID upon entrance. No outside alcoholic beverages are permitted. No pets are permitted. Pop-up tents (for picnicking) are not permitted.
