2/8/2012- "Civil War Conversations" are a free monthly series of lunchtime talks presented by The Museum of the Confederacy and Appomattox Court House National Historical Park, held upstairs at Baine's Books & Coffee. Both Union and Confederate armies employed aeronautical observation during the Peninsula Campaign of 1862. Join Bryce VanStavern of the Museum of the Confederacy for "Eyes over the Peninsula: Reconnaissance Balloons". This free talk will last from 12:15 pm to 12:45 pm.
