| Description: | The Warsaw-Richmond County Chamber announced that the theme for this yearâs Warsaw Fest is âTreasuring Athletics & Team Spirit in the Northern Neck.â âSports has played an important role in the history of our area from horse racing at Mount Airy to the recent State Championships in baseball and tennis from Rappahannock High Schoolâ, according to Warsaw Fest chairman Jessie Vanlandingham. âIn addition, that same team spirit carries over into our everyday lives in business and throughout our communityâ. Warsaw Fest will be held on October 9th on the grounds of Rappahannock Community College and will feature several new attractions this year including an 5K run, sponsored by the Richmond County YMCA, to kick off the event. Also featured will be additional activities for children, more entertainment on the main stage throughout the day, and an expanded Parade. The traditional Baby Contest and Car & Truck Show will be back again this year. | |||
