Description: Helping Hands Vendor and Craft Show will benefit VCU Childrens Medical Center Cardiology Center The event is February 21, 2010 from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. It will be held at The Fredericksburg Hospitality Center in the upstairs Ball Room (There is an elevator and stairs to upstairs) Advertising will be in the paper, on the radio, signs throughout the community and varies paper forms that will start going up and being mailed out February 01, 2010 Please see attached information, contract form and rules and regulations. Event/Application Rules and Regulations:
Eligibly / Application Requirements: * All items from Crafters are to be original works, handcrafted in the USA by the vendor filing out the application. No partially finished items will be allowed. * Photos of your merchandise and at least one (1) of your display are required with your application. Photos may be sent with this application or may be e-mailed to Shelby Peele, at CraftShowPlanner@gmail.com. Photos will be used for promotional reason and can be returned on the day of the event. * If your application can no be accepted, you will be notified and all monies will be returned. A $25 returned check service charge will be assessed for each dishonored check the bank returns. * At registration, all exhibitors will be required one items with a value of at least $10 to be used for the raffle to benefit VCU Children’s Medical Center. Booth / Craft Set-up: * All tables must have a table cloth. Displays should be appealing to the eye- elements of elevation are ideal. * Displays, materials, and stored items must stay contained within your booth and may not block aisles. * All items displayed in the booth should be clearly marked with a price. * Booths should be staffed at all times. Licensing / Taxes: * All vendors need to comply with State of Virginia tax laws. Refer online at www.tax.virginia.gov * Business owners are responsible for collection and reporting of taxes. Miscellaneous: * Exhibitors must wear a name tag or clothing item that has your business name on it. Badges can be provided for $5 each * Business may not share booths. Booth space may not be sold, leased or given to another vendor without prior written consent by the promoter, Shelby Peele. * Bring plenty of small bills and change. * Displays must stay assembled and product be available until the end of the show please. * The event is to start promptly at 2 pm, setup can begin an 12 noon. * All payments are to be made out to Shelby Peele * All contracts must be submitted by January 20, 1010. Any contracts submitted after January 21, 2010 will occur a late fee of $20
