| Description: | Celtic Festival Plan to spend the whole day in downtown Roanoke. Before and after the McDonald's St. Pat's Parade, join us at the Celtic Festival - it'll be full of activities. The festival will be open from 10:00am - 5:00pm. Including great music from three great bands plus the pipe bands from the parade, a team strongman competition, great food, merchants, beverage â both soft and adult, the Bonniest Knees contest, a children's play area and more. 2010 Entertainment Schedule at Celtic Festival (Tentative schedule) 10:00am â Festival Opens 11:00am - McDonald's St. Pat's Parade starts on Jefferson St. & Campbell Ave. 11:30am - 4:00pm Fatback's Team Strongman Contest 1:00 - 2:00pm â Second Wynde 2:05pm - Céilà King & Grand Marshal presentation 2:20 - 3:15pm â Entertainment/Band TBD 3:20pm - Parade winner's presentation 3:30pm - Bonniest Knees Contest approx. 3:45 - 5:00pm â Second Wynde | |
